The fleet will start just the Race Village at Marina de Gloria. They'll then head down to sail round a mark off Sugarloaf Mountain. Back to the start, past Sugarloaf again and then (weather permitting) round a mark of Copacabana Beach. The next scoring mark will be Ilha de Fernando de Noronha (same mark as Leg 1) on the way up to Boston.
