Not long to go now…

The Indian port of Kochi is fraught with activity in preparation for the arrival of the Volvo Ocean Race fleet. Laborers line the roads, which have sprung up overnight in the race village on Willington Island.

Huge %E2%80%98PUMA Ocean Racing' signs line the roads and the pavilion is taking shape. Soon, the village will be painted red, in true PUMA style. Manual workers, working in huge teams, get excited and pull huge grins every time they see someone with a camera.

The PUMA boys aboard il mostro will soon be able to smell land, and are dreaming of fragrant Indian food. Kochi will soon be ready to welcome them with open arms.

il mostro is currently expected to finish leg two Monday afternoon, local time (Monday morning, GMT).
