Opening night crowd at the race village
Volvo Ocean Race kicked off the countdown to the start with an official opening ceremony tonight in Alicante, Spain. The PUMA Ocean Racing team was introduced to the crowd and PUMA City opened it's doors for the first time. Skipper Ken Read and his crew will be in Alicante until the start of Leg 1 on October 11.
